Morgan Moses Expected To Miss 2-4 Weeks
2 months agoNew York Jets offensive tackle Morgan Moses (knee) is expected to miss two to four weeks with an MCL sprain and a bone bruise after undergoing a battery of tests. Considering how bad Moses' injury looked in the Thursday night win over the division-rival New England Patriots, this is good news. He went down in a lot of pain late in the win over New England after getting rolled up on. The 33-year-old won't need to miss the rest of the season, but the Jets will still be without him for at least several weeks. First-round rookie Olu Fashanu stepped into Moses' spot on the offensive line on Thursday night and figures to continue doing so, beginning with the team's Week 4 matchup against the Denver Broncos. The Jets selected Fashanu with the 11th overall pick back in April out of Penn State. New York's offense looked great on Thursday and they'll be hoping Fashanu can fill in nicely for Moses.
