Week 3 Kicker Outlooks for Fantasy Football
Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens - Fantasy Football Outlook
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history, yet he's been the only kicker to miss more than one field goal after the first two games of the season. Both misses were from 50-plus yards, but that's where he's normally the most automatic.
While he missed another one in Week 2, his volume saved his fantasy week, as he went 3-for-4 in field goals and 2-for-2 in extra points. His Week 3 matchup, the Dallas Cowboys, are ranked 21st in fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers through two weeks and have given up an average of 7.5 points so far.
The Ravens' confidence in Tucker still hasn't wavered, so he should see plenty of opportunities to kick field goals from deep, but his "Automatuck" nickname may be on the way out the door.

Daniel Carlson, Las Vegas Raiders - Fantasy Football Outlook
Las Vegas Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson put up 18 fantasy points against the vaunted Baltimore Ravens defense in Week 2, and he has another soft matchup for the offense against a Carolina Panthers defense that gave up huge numbers to Saints kicker Blake Grupe in Week 1.
The Panthers' defense has been incredibly soft, losing their first two games by a combined 60 points. The Panthers have allowed six field goals and seven extra points to be made in those two games. He is one of the league's best kickers and needs the opportunity to kick plenty of field goals to score big in fantasy.
The 29-year-old becomes a great start in leagues with kickers, even outside deeper leagues. Carlson can be used as a streamer for Week 3 in a favorable matchup against the Panthers.
- John Johnson, RotoBaller
Matt Prater, Arizona Cardinals - Fantasy Football Outlook
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater is off to a strong start in his 18th NFL season, currently ranked as the eighth-best kicker in fantasy football. In Week 3, the Cardinals face the Detroit Lions, making Prater a viable streaming option.
Arizona's offense has been efficient, frequently putting themselves in scoring positions. The veteran has capitalized on these opportunities, hitting all four of his field goal attempts and remaining perfect on all seven extra-point attempts.
While the Lions' defense poses a greater challenge than the Cardinals' previous opponents, Arizona should still generate scoring opportunities. With no weather concerns and Prater's consistency, he's a low-end starting kicker for managers needing a streamer, rostered in just 4% of leagues.
