Brock Bowers fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 3 (2024). Should you start or sit Brock Bowers for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 8+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE 1
ANALYSIS: Brock Bowers has become a must-start in all leagues.
After the Raiders selected tight ends in the first round of back-to-back NFL drafts, there was uncertainty about how they would fit into the offense, especially with the team's low expectations as a scoring unit. This caused concern among fantasy managers evaluating Bowers. However, those fears were quickly put to rest by his impressive start to the season.
Through two weeks, Bowers is the second-ranked tight end in fantasy football, recording 15 catches for 157 yards and posting double-digit fantasy points in both games. He’s second on the Raiders in targets, trailing only Davante Adams, and leads all NFL tight ends in targets.

In Week 3, the Raiders face the struggling Carolina Panthers defense, which ranks last in the league in points allowed per game, surrendering 36.5 points. The Panthers are also ranked 30th in points allowed to tight ends, giving Bowers a huge advantage.
Given his matchup and target volume, Bowers makes a strong case to be the top fantasy tight end in Week 3.
