2 months agoThe New England Patriots defense can be left on waivers in most leagues heading into Week 3 against the New York Jets. This unit has been respectable over the first two weeks of the season, but a couple of factors should lead fantasy managers in a different direction this week. First, the Patriots' offense is one of the worst in the league, at least on paper. If the offense struggles to stay on the field against the Jets, the defense will be stretched thin trying to hold back the New York offense. Additionally, the Jets are capable of limiting turnovers. Aaron Rodgers has just one interception through two games this season, and we should trust the veteran quarterback to play clean football. Indeed, fantasy D/ST units have had trouble producing against the Jets. New York has allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to D/ST in 2024.
