ANALYSIS: Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith has played well over the first two weeks after a disappointing 2023 season. The veteran is the QB9, averaging 17.9 fantasy points per game. He is coming off an impressive showing in the win over the New England Patriots, completing 75% of his pass attempts for 327 yards, one touchdown, and 17.9 fantasy points.

Fantasy players in 10-team leagues likely have a better option on their bench than Smith. However, 12-team leagues and deeper should consider adding the veteran quarterback off the wavier wire this week. He has played well, completing 73.9% of his pass attempts this year. Furthermore, Smith has scored 17.8 or more fantasy points in both contests.
The veteran faces the Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and New York Giants over the next three weeks. All three matchups are excellent for Smith’s fantasy value. Anyone needing a replacement for Jordan Love or Tua Tagovailoa should make the veteran one of their top targets off the waiver wire.
