ANALYSIS: Chuba Hubbard proved in Week 2 that he is the best offensive player on the worst offensive team in the league through the first two weeks of the 2024 NFL season. In Week 1, Hubbard was ineffective, accumulating only 14 rushing yards (1.4 fantasy points).
In Week 2, however, he was much better, racking up 76 total yards (64 rushing, 12 receiving), which was good for 11.6 fantasy points (PPR).

Hubbard has stepped in as the Panthers’ number-one back to replace Jonathon Brooks, who began the season on the NFI (Non-Football Injury/Illness) list due to an ACL injury suffered in November.
For the time being, Hubbard does have fantasy value, although it is limited due to how poor his team's offense is. The Carolina Panthers are 0-2 and have only scored 13 points and accumulated 352 total yards of offense in those contests.
Still, he is an RB1 in the NFL and is set to see another high-volume game in Week 3. He should be picked up in deep leagues as an RB3 or RB4 option. If claimed, Hubbard should be used as a short-term streamer until Brooks returns.
