Texans D/ST A Playable Option Against Struggling Bears Offense
3 months agoHouston Texans D/ST were a mixed bag in Week 1 but will look to improve as they head into their Week 2 matchup versus the Chicago Bears. The Texans held Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor to just 48 rushing yards and won the game 29-27. They also blocked a punt and allowed Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson to amass 212 passing yards on just nine completions, including two touchdown passes of 50-plus yards. The good news for Houston is that a rookie quarterback and a struggling offense are next. The Chicago Bears gained only 148 yards and did not score an offensive touchdown in quarterback Caleb Williams' debut against Tennessee. The Texans are a mid-tier fantasy defense, but against a young quarterback playing in his first road game, they're a playable option in Week 2.
