ANALYSIS: The Minnesota Vikings could rely on wide receiver Jalen Nailor more in the coming weeks after Jordan Addison left Sunday's game early due to an ankle injury. Despite the team being hopeful that Addison will play in Week 2, head coach Kevin O'Connell said on Monday the wideout is experiencing soreness in that ankle.
If he can't go against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2, Nailor should step into that WR2 role in Minnesota. The 25-year-old only played 47% of the team's offensive snaps in Week 1 but did catch a 21-yard touchdown early in the third quarter. Unfortunately, that was his only target and reception of the game.

As a result, he isn't a strong waiver wire add heading into Week 2 -- even if Addison is out. Nailor was out-snapped (30 to 26) by Brandon Powell this past week and faces a tough 49ers secondary this upcoming week. Managers should only monitor the Vikings wideout in deeper fantasy formats.
