2 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (ankle) remains out of the starting lineup ahead of Monday's game against the Chicago Cubs. Hernandez has been sidelined since exiting early during Friday's contest due to an ankle injury. The X-rays came back negative, so the team is calling it a left ankle contusion. The hope is that Hernandez can return within the next day or two. In the meantime, Chris Taylor will play left field and bat ninth against right-hander Kyle Hendricks on Monday. Taylor has been struggling this season and is hitting under .200 currently, so there should be better streaming options available. UPDATE: Manager Dave Roberts said the team is hopeful of having Hernandez back in the lineup on Tuesday, but they'll see how he feels then.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
