BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB1
ANALYSIS: According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Justin Fields is "more likely" to serve as the starting QB over Russell Wilson in the season opener on Sunday.
Wilson (calf) was diagnosed with calf tightness earlier this week and was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday, which could open the door for Fields to get the starting nod. Even though the 35-year-old has expressed his intent to play if he is healthy, the team may opt to give their veteran an extra week to rest so he does not face a further setback.
The #Steelers are expected to examine QB Russell Wilson this morning to check out his calf, but as it stands now, it’s more likely Justin Fields starts vs the #Falcons than Wilson, per me and @MikeGarafolo.

If Fields suits up this afternoon, he is a viable starting QB in all 12-team leagues. Last season, Fields totaled 2,562 yards through the air with 657 on the ground. In the previous campaign, Fields ran for an eye-catching 1,143 yards while throwing for 2,242.
His elite rushing ability provides him not only a safe floor from a fantasy standpoint but also a very high ceiling.
Fantasy managers should continue to pay close attention to any updates regarding Wilson's status this afternoon. If Fields gets the start, he is worth putting in your lineup in 1QB leagues over options like Kirk Cousins, Brock Purdy, or Aaron Rodgers, who have difficult matchups in the opening week.
UPDATE: Justin Fields is officially in line to start against the Falcons. Wilson (calf) has been ruled out.
