Chase Elliott Should Be Strong at Atlanta
3 months agoLook for Chase Elliott to be strong in Sunday afternoon's Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Since the track was repaved and reconfigured prior to the 2022 season, Elliott has the third-best average running position at Atlanta while grabbing one win and no result worse than 15th in his four starts at the track. This weekend, Chase qualified 16th, which means he has decent room for Place Differential points on DFS sites as well. In addition to his strong record at Atlanta specifically, Elliott also has the best average running position in the Next Gen era at the three superspeedway/drafting race tracks (Daytona, Talladega, and Atlanta). Over a 16-race sample size, that is quite impressive. Look for Elliott to be a strong top-10 contender on Sunday, and potentially even challenge for the race win, too.
