BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2/FLEX
UPDATE SEPTEMBER 9TH: Christian McCaffrey has been ruled out for Week 1 and will not play. Jordan Mason is an RB2/FLEX option, and must-stash if still available before lineups lock.
ANALYSIS: San Francisco 49ers running back Jordan Mason will enter the season as the No. 2 running back on the depth chart.
Earlier in August, running back Elijah Mitchell (hamstring) was placed on season-ending injured reserve which opened the door for Mason to slot in as the backup to superstar Christian McCaffrey.
McCaffrey currently battling a calf injury but is expected to be a full-go for the season opener which will limit Mason's opportunities greatly.
Through his first two professional seasons, Mason averaged just 232 rushing yards each campaign with a total of four career scores. However, knowing that he will operate as the No. 2 this season, he should see a general uptick in work.

Since December 2022 I have been encouraging the add in deep dynasty.
This offseason he has overtaken Elijah Mitchell as CMC handcuff. CMC is also banged up. 👀

Fantasy managers should continue to monitor McCaffrey's status leading up to Monday evening in case he sees a setback, which could open the door for Mason to see a sizable workload.
For now, fantasy managers should continue to stash Mason on their bench. He is one of the most valuable handcuffs in fantasy football, given the elite offense he would be the lead runner for if McCaffrey were to miss an extended period.

Ray-Ray McCloud III - Week 2 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit In All Leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: WR7 ANALYSIS: Ray-Ray McCloud III surprisingly led all Atlanta pass-catchers in targets (seven) and receiving yards (52) in the Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. While his opening-week showing puts him on the fantasy football radar, he should not be expected to continue that trend. McCloud […]

BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-End TE1 ANALYSIS: Dallas Geodert caught four of his five targets for 31 yards in the Week 1 win over the Green Bay Packers. Jahan Dotson - Week 2 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit in 12-Team Leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5 ANALYSIS: Even if A.J. Brown misses time, Philadelphia Eagles WR Jahan Dotson isn't worth putting in your starting lineups. He's brand new to the Eagles offensive scheme, hasn't had much time to adjust, and isn't a good receiver anyway. Dotson was let go by the Commanders […]
