BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB1
ANALYSIS: Dak Prescott turned in one of the best seasons of his NFL career in 2023, setting career highs in completion percentage (69.5%) and touchdown passes (36), with the latter mark leading the NFL.
The veteran quarterback will look to build upon that strong performance again in 2024 in yet another season with high expectations for the Dallas offense.
With CeeDee Lamb recently signing a four-year, $136 million contract extension, Prescott will see most of his key pass-catchers return for the upcoming season as Lamb will rejoin Brandin Cooks and Jake Ferguson as the top weapons in the passing game.

The running back situation in Dallas isn't as rosy. The Cowboys let 2023 starting running back Tony Pollard walk while choosing to bring back an aging Ezekiel Elliott. Elliott will team with Rico Dowdle and Dalvin Cook to form an uninspiring running-back room in Dallas. That should only serve to make the Cowboys even more pass-heavy on offense.
The main concern for Prescott here is a Week 1 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, which isn't a great way for him to kick off his season, as the Browns boasted one of the top pass defenses in 2023.
That being said, Prescott is a top talent at the position and should do enough to return low-end QB1 numbers in Week 1 despite the challenging matchup.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically.
