ANALYSIS: The 2023 season was a major disappointment for wide receiver Gabe Davis, but he's hoping for a fresh start in 2024 with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Will he get that?
Maybe, but fantasy managers should be extremely cautious with Davis in Week 1 against the Dolphins. Davis is the ultimate boom-or-bust play, as he had three 100-yard games in 2023 with a touchdown in each but also was held without a single reception five different times. It was an incredibly up-and-down campaign for Davis.

Davis probably won't have as many reception-less games this time around, but fantasy managers should take a wait-and-see approach here. He has the speed to make huge plays, but has always struggled for consistency.
Consider Davis a risky WR5 play until we have at least a couple weeks of tape on him to see how the Jaguars will be using him this season.
