ANALYSIS: Injuries have drastically limited Christian Watson's production through two seasons in the NFL, but a unique offseason treatment could preserve his health and allow him to play a full season in 2024.
Watson is reportedly fully healthy and should not have any limitations when the Packers' season kicks off against the Eagles on Friday night in Brazil. The third-year receiver will start alongside Jayden Reed in Green Bay's offense.
Watson has been a touchdown machine when healthy, racking up 12 touchdowns through 23 games. In his final three games last year, he found the end zone four times.

Watson didn't have the greatest underlying metrics last year (largely due to the fact that he didn't play a full season), but a couple of stats that did stand out were his 0.38 fantasy points per route run and 15.1 yards per reception.
Heading into Week 1 against the Eagles, Watson and Reed are both candidates to deliver WR2-caliber production in fantasy football. However, it remains to be seen if both players can achieve that status. Therefore, managers should temper expectations and treat Watson as a WR3/FLEX option (with upside) for now.
