Chase Elliott Is One Of The Best DFS Options Available For Darlington
3 months agoAfter qualifying for Sunday's Cookout Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway, Chase Elliott will start the race from the 20th position. This is the second time since 2022 at Darlington that Elliott will start inside the Top 20 and is the worst starting position this year for the No. 9 Chevrolet driver since the May race at Darlington. In 15 races at the South Carolina track, Elliott has 11 top-20 finishes, including seven inside the Top 10. Since 2022, Elliott had four finishes of 12th or better at Darlington in the Cup Series, while he finished fourth in the Xfinity Series race at the site earlier in the weekend. Through 25 races so far this season, Elliott has one win, 12 top-10 finishes, and an average finish of 11.6 (second-best of all drivers). In practice, Elliott ranked 18th in overall lap averages of all drivers while ranking third in 20 consecutive lap averages of all Group A drivers. Considering his excellent Place Differential upside, recent Darlington history, equipment, and practice speeds, Elliott is a fantastic option for any DFS contest this week.
