BALLER MOVE: Start in all leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2
ANALYSIS: Kenneth Walker III is currently healthy. And when he's active, he takes on lots of opportunities. He averaged over 17 touches in his 14 fully healthy games in 2023.
A year ago, there was speculation that Zach Charbonnet would significantly cut into Walker's workload. That wasn't the case and remains so this season. The new coaching staff is applauding Walker as a training camp star. Charbonnet has dealt with injuries throughout camp.
The offense is undergoing a major change. The Seahawks ranked last in offensive snaps a season ago, failing to reach 1,000 plays. Ryan Grubb, who helped lead the University of Washington to the National Championship game, is now calling plays. A faster pace (and hopefully improved defense under defensive-minded head coach Mike Macdonald) will lead to more opportunities for Walker.
Kenneth Walker III could pick up extra yards against the Broncos defense 💪
Last year, Walker ranked 5th among RB in forced missed tackles per carry, while Denver ranked 2nd worst among defenses in missed tackle rate 👀 pic.twitter.com/pxm0enlKyZ

The Seahawks are currently listed as 5.5-point favorites over the Broncos in Week 1, That's the third-largest spread on the opening slate. Seattle could be playing with a lead and riding their running back to victory over an inexperienced Denver offense. Start Walker with confidence.
