Drake London, Atlanta Falcons - Fantasy Football Outlook
Throw out the first two seasons of Drake London's NFL career. In his rookie season, the Falcons averaged just 158.8 passing yards per game, while in 2023, they averaged 207.3. Marcus Mariota, Desmond Ridder, and Taylor Heinicke combined to throw just 34 touchdowns and 25 interceptions. For reference, Kirk Cousins, the Falcons new signal-caller, threw 18 touchdowns and just five interceptions in eight games last season. He averaged 291.4 passing yards per game.
New head coach Raheem Morris and offensive coordinator Zac Robinson come from Los Angeles, where the Rams averaged the 7th-most passing yards per game in 2023 (245.6). Despite finishing as WR31 in his rookie season, London posted the 5th-highest target share (29.4%) and 2nd-highest target rate (32.4%) among wide receivers.
His opportunity dipped in 2023, possibly as a result of the Bijan Robinson addition. Robinson saw 86 targets as a rookie, good for a 17.2% target share. The year prior, Tyler Allgeier posted just a 4.6% target share. So while London should easily eclipse his career-high of 117 targets, don't expect him to see nearly a 30% target share this season. It's more likely he's closer to 25%.
With higher passing volume, that could lead to at least 130-140 targets. DeAndre Hopkins, Mike Evans, Calvin Ridley, and DJ Moore were all within that range a season ago. Consider London a high-end WR2 with low-end WR1 upside in 2024.

Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins - Fantasy Football Outlook
Miami Dolphins fourth-year wide receiver Jaylen Waddle continued to excel in the Dolphins' high-powered offense in 2023. Partnering with Tyreek Hill, Waddle formed one of the most dynamic receiving duos in the league. He finished the season with 72 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns in just 14 games, showcasing his speed and ability to make big plays.
Waddle's biggest concern last year was the lack of endzone touches the young receiver got, but a lack of games played could have altered this fluke as Waddle caught eight touchdowns the year before. Under head coach Mike McDaniel, the Dolphins' offensive scheme emphasizes speed and big plays. Waddle's role as a primary deep threat and possession receiver positions him as one of the offense's focal points.
Waddle is worth targeting in the early rounds of fantasy drafts, typically in the late second to early third round. Given his role in the Dolphins' dynamic offense and his proven talent, he offers a high floor with significant upside. Managers looking for a reliable and explosive wide receiver should confidently draft Waddle.
The wide receiver is a high-end WR2 with the potential to finish as a WR1 in PPR formats. His ability to generate big plays and accumulate receptions makes him a valuable asset, particularly in leagues that reward points per reception. Waddle could easily outperform his draft position if he can increase his touchdown production.

Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers - Fantasy Football Outlook
The new-look Los Angeles Chargers used the 34th overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft to select Ladd McConkey as they reset their wide receiver corps. McConkey's college career began on Georgia's scout team but he would soon emerge as a reliable option who averaged 14.2 yards per catch with 18 total TDs in 39 games. The 75.3% catch rate helped make the most of his opportunities on a run-happy Georgia team.
He also returned 21 punts there, averaging 13.3 yards per return. We know Justin Herbert has a massive arm, but he's now without Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Austin Ekeler, and Gerald Everett. That's over 225 vacated targets. Their 2023 first-rounder, Quentin Johnston, supplied little reason for optimism going into 2024 and Joshua Palmer is not a No. 1 receiver, which means the door is open for McConkey to be Herbert's primary target.
Jim Harbaugh's return to the NFL may bring a balanced rushing attack, but McConkey is sure to be involved as a PPR magnet thanks to being a crisp route-runner with plus hands. He may struggle to secure enough yards or TDs to separate from the pack in non-PPR formats, but a WR3 in PPR is viable.
