Christian McCaffrey, Derrick Henry, Alvin Kamara, and Saquon Barkley have been some of the top running backs in the NFL over the past several years. However, their time as the top runners in the game is coming to an end.
While Bijan Robinson, Breece Hall, and Jahmyr Gibbs are three of the top young running backs in the league, there are several other talented young running backs in the NFL. Three potential breakout candidates are Zamir White, Brian Robinson Jr., and Chase Brown.

Zamir White 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
The Las Vegas Raiders will have a new starting running back after Josh Jacobs signed with the Green Bay Packers in free agency. White was productive in his four games as the starter late last season, averaging 14.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game despite having only one touchdown.
The Raiders added Alexander Mattison and Dylan Laube in the offseason. Yet, neither running back should keep White from having a significant workload in 2024.

Brian Robinson Jr. 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Robinson has flashed star potential during his two years with the Washington Commanders. He was the RB22 last season, averaging 12 half-point PPR fantasy points per game, totaling five touchdowns despite splitting the backfield with Antonio Gibson.
While the Commanders added Austin Ekeler in free agency, the veteran will be the clear-cut No. 2 running back, with Robinson handling most of the workload, especially around the goal line.

Chase Brown 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
While Brown averaged only 3.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game as a rookie, many have high hopes for him this season. The Cincinnati Bengals traded away Joe Mixon, replacing him with Zack Moss. However, the veteran has limited starting experience and a significant injury history.
Meanwhile, Brown flashed big-play abilities last year, especially in the passing game. Reportedly, Brown could be the Week 1 starter over Moss.

Who Should I Draft in Fantasy Football?
Fantasy players should target all three running backs in their fantasy drafts this year as all three could have a breakout season. However, White and Robinson offer more upside than Brown because of their goal-line role.
While White has limited starting experience, he should get drafted ahead of Robinson because he will be the lead back on a Las Vegas offense that wants to be run-heavy.
