There's immense pressure for Marvin Harrison Jr. to deliver after becoming the first wide receiver selected in the 2024 NFL Draft. However, he is used to the pressure after playing for one of college football's celebrated programs.
In his final year at Ohio State, the 2023 Biletnikoff Award winner gathered 1,211 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. The Arizona Cardinals will be in a good spot if he can replicate those numbers during his rookie season.
Since Harrison Jr. could become Kyler Murray's primary target in their passing attack, fantasy football enthusiasts will be intrigued by his potential. Therefore, it helps to know the ideal spot to select the Pro Football Hall of Famer's son in fantasy drafts.

Marvin Harrison Jr. Fantasy Football Outlook
Three factors will help Harrison become a legitimate WR1. First, Murray is healthy heading into the 2024 season. The last time Murray played double-digit games in a season, he became a Pro Bowler after finishing with 3,787 passing yards, 423 rushing yards, and 15 touchdowns.
Second, Harrison will be the undisputed star of the Cardinals' passing attack. While Michael Wilson and tight end Trey McBride had solid numbers last year, Harrison will be their deep-ball threat to stretch the field.
Third, the Cardinals have the seventh-easiest schedule for 2024 based on their opponents' 2023 standings.
We have never seen a non RB Rookie selected in the 1st Round of Fantasy Drafts, but Marvin Harrison Jr. is going to be making frequent appearances at the 1-2 turn for the rest of the summer.

When Should I Draft Marvin Harrison Jr.?
Harrison has the attributes and opportunities to become a WR1 for a fantasy football roster, especially if the team owner prioritized a running back in the first round. That said, he's a solid mid-second-round selection.
RotoBaller's Nick Mariano projects that Harrison will finish with 83 receptions for 1,150 yards and eight touchdowns. If he had 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns in 12 games with the Buckeyes last year, he should attain 1,000 yards in a 17-game season.
