Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Sleepers - Four Late-Round WR Draft Targets (2024)

Demarcus Robinson - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers

Ellis' late-round fantasy football wide receiver draft sleepers for 2024. These are fantasy football WR draft values that you should pick in the later rounds.

As the season draws near, best ball drafts continue to dominate the fantasy football community. Although these drafts have been going on for months, people are now using them to help prep for their redraft leagues.

I know I have personally entered a few “Sit and Go” leagues that have drafted substantially different from the best ball average draft position (ADP). I chalk this up to many players prepping for their home leagues and overvaluing RBs in this situation. As a result, I’m taking full advantage of these leagues.

In this article, I have selected four WRs who are being drafted outside of the top 40, with the latest being drafted as the WR82. All four of these players bring upside that can carry your best ball team to the top!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Rome Odunze (WR, CHI)

ADP: WR43

I loved Odunze as a prospect. Often considered outside of the Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers tier, I felt his ability was being disrespected. Odunze is the real deal and has put on a clinic this preseason.

So far, both Odunze and Caleb Williams have displayed that their college hype was as advertised. These two have linked on some spectacular plays and will be a dynamic duo for years to come.

Especially since Keenan Allen has been reported to not look the same, Odunze may be the team’s second WR sooner rather than later. With his size and speed, he is going to be a monster against an opposing team’s second corner.

An athletic beast who is tied to a great quarterback is a great best ball WR. I am still unsure why he goes 21 receivers after Malik Nabers; however, I have been taking full advantage of that this offseason.

Adonai Mitchell (WR, IND)

ADP: WR66

This wide receiver rookie class is already looking unbelievable. The 2024 draft class had four receivers who were athletic monsters and had the physical size to back it up. Three players were first-round picks: Rome Odunze, Brian Thomas Jr., and Xavier Legette. The fourth player, Adonai Mitchell, was taken in the second round by the Colts.

One of the biggest critiques of Mitchell heading into the draft was his work ethic and the advantage of playing opposite of first-round receiver Xavier Worthy. So far in camp, neither of these concerns has held any water.

Throughout camp, Mitchell has earned praise from coaches and players. Most recently, Michael Pittman Jr. said, “His (Adonai Mitchell) releases are the best I’ve seen. I’ve actually been studying him because they’re that good.” Of course, camp hype needs to be taken with a grain of salt, but that’s one heck of a quote.

This entire offseason, the vibes out of Colts camp indicate that this offense is going to be incredible. With Shane Steichen controlling this team, you are going to want every piece for fantasy. Plus, Josh Downs is dealing with an ankle injury that may linger into the season. As a result, Mitchell has already been moved around from the outside to the slot.

I am a huge believer in this offense. The fact that you can get Mitchell's deep threat and athletic upside at WR66 in best ball is a fantastic value.

Demarcus Robinson (WR, LAR)

ADP: WR75

Demarcus Robinson has been a fringe fantasy-relevant player for years. From his days on the Chiefs to his short stint on the Ravens, he now finds himself on a high-powered Rams offense.

Despite barely playing over the first half of last season, Robinson strung together five consecutive top-36 WR performances, four of which were in the top 24. This late-season usage makes me hopeful that he can have a handful of big performances in 2024.

Plus, he is the clear third option behind Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. Yes, sixth-round rookie Jordan Whittington has been getting praise from the preseason, but I still strongly believe this is Robinson's job to lose.

Additionally, this team is without veteran TE Tyler Higbee for at least the first half of the season. There is a clear path to a big role since Kupp has a lengthy injury history and Nacua is already starting this season coming off an injury.

Even without an injury to Kupp or Nacua, Robinson can have big games on this high-flying offense. As a result, Robinson is a fantastic dart throw to take in the last picks of your best ball drafts.

Andrei Iosivas (WR, CIN)

ADP: WR82

The Japanese-born, Filipino-American has been turning heads at Bengals training camp. These reports have seemed to come to fruition, playing as the clear third WR in this preseason.

Selected in the sixth round of the 2023 draft, the Princeton product has seemingly secured the role vacated by Tyler Boyd. At first glance, Iosivas is primed to be an outside receiver, with a 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame and a 4.43-second 40-yard dash time. However, they have moved him into the slot in camp, and all reports have been glowing.

With Ja'Marr Chase expected to move around the formation more this season, a receiver like Iosivas who can play both in the slot and out wide could keep him ahead of Jermaine Burton for most of the season. He may not be consistent for fantasy, but in best ball, you want every pass-catcher connected to Joe Burrow.
