Isaac Paredes Returns To The Lineup
3 months agoChicago Cubs third baseman Isaac Paredes (shoulder) is back in the starting lineup ahead of Tuesday's game against the Detroit Tigers. This is good news for both fantasy managers and the Cubbies after Paredes missed Sunday's game due to right shoulder discomfort. He was able to pinch-hit during that contest, so it appears to be a minor issue. He'll cover third base and bat fifth versus right-hander Alex Faedo on Tuesday. Paredes has been quiet to the tune of a .153 batting average with two homers and eight RBI since being traded to Chicago. The 25-year-old has a solid track record, so hopefully it's only a minor slump.
