Jordan Walker Shipped Back To Triple-A
3 months agoThe St. Louis Cardinals sent outfielder Jordan Walker back to Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday in a series of moves by the team. Walker was 1-for-11 in three games after being called up and is hitting .145/.228/.232 with four RBI, and four runs scored in 69 at-bats between his two stints with the Cardinals. The Cardinals also released shortstop Brandon Crawford, who hit .169/.263/.282 with a homer, four RBI, and five runs scored in 71 at-bats. Fantasy managers should let go of any chance Walker can develop into his potential, at least for 2024. As for Crawford, the release could mark the end of his 14-year career that included three All-Star nods and three World Series titles with the San Francisco Giants.
