3 months agoBaltimore Orioles outfield prospect Dylan Beavers won Player of the Week honors in the Eastern League of Double-A. Beavers, the No. 8 prospect in a loaded Orioles farm system went 9-for-20 with two doubles, four RBI and a pair of stolen bases. The 23-year-old has spent the full season in Bowie and has hit .243 with four triples, 12 homers and 27 stolen bases in 98 games. Beavers stuck around with the Orioles after the trade deadline, but still has plenty outfield competition in his way at both Triple-A Norfolk and at the big-leagues. Beavers offers good pop and speed, but may need a better situation to get to the big leagues quicker. For now, he is worth watching in dynasty leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
