Cal Raleigh Hits 27th Homer
3 months agoSeattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in the Mariners' 10-3 win over Pittsburgh on Sunday. Raleigh blasted his 27th home run of the season to bring his RBI total to 78. He is hitting .211/.304/.440 on the season. The 27-year-old backstop is a valuable catcher in fantasy because of the power he brings to the table. His batting average, while low, doesn't crush fantasy managers because the position tends to carry more risk in that category. Raleigh should continue to do what he does the rest of the way which is crush homers.
