Isaiah Williams Leads Receivers In Win
4 months agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Isaiah Williams was targeted eight times in the preseason game on Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs, catching six passes for a team-high 71 yards. The undrafted rookie also caught a 37-yard bomb, leading all Detroit receivers for the second straight game in targets, catches, and yards. It should be noted that Williams had a great 20-yard punt return late in the game to set up kicker Jake Bates for the game-winning field goal. The 23-year-old looks like he might be higher up on the depth chart than initially thought by the start of the season.
