Tyler Glasnow Heading To Injured List With Elbow Tendinitis
3 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Tyler Glasnow (elbow) is heading to the 15-day injured list on Friday with right-elbow tendinitis. The Dodgers recently pushed Glasnow back from his scheduled start on Friday at Busch Stadium against the St. Louis Cardinals to Saturday, and now we know why. The first-time All-Star won't be starting at all this weekend now and is set to miss at least the next two weeks. With the 30-year-old injured, Bobby Miller, who has an ERA over 8.00 in his seven starts for the Dodgers this year, will most likely rejoin the big-league roster and start in place of Glasnow on Saturday. Glasnow is tied for third among all starting pitchers with a 32.2% strikeout rate in his first year in Hollywood and has also gone 9-6 with a 3.49 ERA, a league-best 0.95 WHIP and a career-high 168 strikeouts in 134 innings over 22 starts. Keep him stashed in all fantasy formats while he recovers.
