Bryce Eldridge Extends Hitting Streak To Nine Games
4 months agoSan Francisco Giants outfield prospect Bryce Eldridge extended his hitting streak to nine games on Thursday evening, going 2-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI. During this stretch, the 19-year-old has held a stellar .452/.581/.1.000 slash line with four home runs, 11 RBI, and an 11:6 BB:K ratio. Overall, through his first 34 games at High-A Eugene, the top prospect in the Bay Area has posted a strong .325/.446/.545 line with six home runs and 29 RBI. The former first-round selection in last year's draft remains several seasons away from his major league debut but has settled in quite nicely in the lower levels of the minor leagues throughout his young career.
