Weston Wilson Hits For The Cycle On Thursday
4 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Weston Wilson went 4-for-5 with a single, double, triple, and a round-tripper to lead the Phillies to a victory on Thursday evening. Wilson also scored three runs and tallied one RBI. The Clemson product has made just ten starts since rejoining the Phillies in mid-July. Through this stretch, the 29-year-old has performed quite well with a .342/.350/.684 line, three home runs, seven RBI and two doubles. Wilson could begin to earn aa starting role in left field as Brandon Marsh has gone just 7-for-40 through August. Wilson could be worth adding in deeper leagues for now, given his recent hot stretch, and may eventually be a popular target in all leagues if he can find his way into the starting nine on a consistent basis.
