Jacob Misiorowski Sharp Through First Relief Appearances At Triple-A
4 months agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski has looked quite sharp operating as a reliever at Triple-A in his past two outings. The top prospect in Milwaukee moved up to Triple-A earlier this month and made two short starts before shifting to a bullpen role. As a reliever, Misiorowski has tossed three 2/3 perfect innings with five punchouts. As a starter, he served up two earned runs across three frames of work. While the sample size is very small, the right-hander may have found a new role out of the pen. All fantasy managers should continue to monitor how the former second-round selection is utilized through the end of the season as he served exclusively as a starter over the past two summers. Misiorowski could push for a late-season major league debut, given his current production at Triple-A as well.
