Jasson Dominguez Snaps Power Drought
4 months agoNew York Yankees outfield prospect Jasson Dominguez snapped his power drought by going deep on Wednesday evening. Entering this game, the switch-hitting center field carried an 18-game power outage. Through August, the top prospect in the Bronx has struggled with a disappointing .154/.233/.282 line. Prior to this stretch, Dominguez held a strong .360/.400/.640 line across several levels of the minor leagues with six home runs. Dominguez got a brief taste of the majors last summer and showcased his elite potential by going deep four times across eight games. The 21-year-old has been limited by injuries all summer but still has a very good chance to return to the big leagues down the stretch.
