Fantasy Football Running Back Depth Charts - Handcuffs, Backups, Waiver Wire Stashes

With wide receivers continuing to be pushed up fantasy football draft boards as a "Zero-RB" approach is growing in popularity, identifying potential backup or "handcuff" running backs to stash is a great way to stack upside on your roster. Many fantasy gamers are used to handcuffing their running backs, while others opt to only grab backups from backfields they do not have pieces of. That's a debate for another time, but either way, you should use these fantasy football running back depth charts to keep tabs on the developments in all 32 NFL backfields.

Almost every team used to have one workhorse back, but now, less than half of the league utilizes a bell-cow ball carrier. Instead, most teams are going to pure committees or at least complementing their starter with a pass-catching back, early-down bruiser, or pure goal-line back.
