3 months agoOakland Athletics catcher Shea Langeliers had a huge game at the plate in Tuesday's 9-4 win over the Mets. Langeliers went 4-for-4 with a single, two doubles, a three-run home run, and four RBI. He was also hit by a pitch. The 26-year-old crushed a third-inning Paul Blackburn changeup deep into the left-field seats to put the A's up 7-1. Langeliers has provided plenty of power out of a weak fantasy position, slashing .226/.288/.466 with 22 HR, 42 runs scored, and 61 RBI in 386 plate appearances. He has been much better overall since the All-Star break, slashing .286/.384/.603 in 63 at-bats. He could be a boost to fantasy managers' lineups down the stretch if he can keep that level of production up.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
