Jarren Duran Suspended Two Games
4 months agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran has been suspended for two games on Monday after he uttered an anti-gay slur at a fan during Sunday's game against the visiting Houston Astros. Duran's suspension will begin effective immediately, and he'll miss Monday night's game against the Texas Rangers. Fantasy managers will obviously want to keep him out of their daily lineups for Monday's and Tuesday's games, but he should be back in there on Wednesday. With Duran out on Monday, Ceddanne Rafaela is in center field and batting ninth, Rob Refsnyder is in left field and hitting third, and Wilyer Abreu is in right field and in the six-hole against Rangers right-hander Tyler Mahle. Duran is in the midst of a breakout campaign in 2024 and is a must-start in fantasy lineups when he's in Boston's starting lineup this year.
