3 months agoSeattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh had a huge night at the dish on Sunday Night Baseball, going 3-for-4 with a pair of homers and five RBI in a 12-1 thumping of the New York Mets. Raleigh homered in the fifth and sixth frames, in which the Mariners scored nine runs to effectively finish off the game. The veteran backstop is doing what is expected of him, hitting dingers and driving in runs. His AVG will always be lackluster, but his power numbers are elite, especially for a catcher.
