Chepe Mariscal picked up a decision win over Damon Jackson in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 97 on Saturday. Mariscal missed weight for the bout, but the fight still happened in a bout that Mariscal was the favorite in. Mariscal used his grappling to control the fight as he went 5-of-7 for takedowns and had over 8 minutes of control time. He ended up outlanding Jackson 218-to-49 to cruise to a decision win. With the win, Mariscal is now 17-6 as a pro and is 4-0 in the UFC. He likely is a win away from fighting a ranked opponent.--Cole Shelton

Chepe Mariscal (16-6) is set to take on Damon Jackson in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 95 on Saturday. Mariscal is a perfect 3-0 in the UFC and is coming off a controversial split decision win over Morgan Charriere back in April. Mariscal enters the fight as a sizeable favorite as DraftKings has him at a salary of $9,100. In the UFC, Mariscal has won just one fight by stoppage, as he is a good striker who throws volume to win decisions.
