3 months agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Matt Vierling (back) returns to the starting lineup ahead of Sunday's game against the San Francisco Giants. The 27-year-old is back in the lineup after missing two games due to back spasms. He'll serve as the designated hitter and bat leadoff against right-hander Hayden Birdsong on Sunday.
