New York Jets wide receiver Jason Brownlee isn't a lock to make the 53-man roster but can help his cause by performing well in Week 1 of the preseason, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN. Cimini notes that Brownlee had a slow start to camp but has started to trend in the right direction recently. As a result, it's imperative that he continues his "positive momentum" in order to make a push for a roster spot. Garrett Wilson, Mike Williams, Xavier Gipson, and Malachi Corley are all locks to make the team, which means Brownlee is competing with the likes of Allen Lazard, Irvin Charles, Lance McCutcheon, and Malik Taylor. The 25-year-old played in seven games (five starts) as a rookie last year, catching just five passes for 56 yards and a touchdown. He's firmly on the roster bubble and can be avoided in most fantasy formats.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

New York Jets rookie wide receiver Jason Brownlee caught both of his targets for a season-high 28 receiving yards in Thursday night's 37-20 loss to the Cleveland Browns. It comes after Brownlee found the end zone for the first time in his career in the Week 16 win over the Washington Commanders last Sunday. The Jets are trying to involve some of their younger players on offense a bit more now that they are mathematically eliminated from postseason contention, and Brownlee has been one of the beneficiaries in the last couple of weeks. The 24-year-old is by no means suddenly on the fantasy radar, though, but he'll be looking to make some more noise when the team faces the division-rival New England Patriots in the regular season finale in Week 18.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

New York Jets wide receiver Jason Brownlee (ankle) practiced in full again on Friday. He has been removed from the injury report and will play against the Washington Commanders in Week 16. The rookie has appeared in just four games this season, including a Week 12 outing in which he played a whopping 98 percent of offensive snaps and caught two passes. Brownlee should put an end to his two-game absence this weekend, but he's off the redraft radar currently.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

New York Jets wide receiver Jason Brownlee (ankle) was a limited participant on Wednesday. The rookie has been an afterthought on offense this season, catching just two passes for 20 yards through four games (all in one contest vs. Miami). He has missed the team's last two contests and will merely return to fill a depth role at wide receiver. Despite the rookie getting back on the field, Brownlee won't earn significant volume and should be kept off the fantasy radar.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

New York Jets wide receiver Jason Brownlee finished with two receptions for 25 yards on four targets in the team's 32-24 preseason victory over the New York Giants. Brownlee's most memorable contribution, however, won't show up on the stat sheet as he made an impressive diving catch for a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter. The undrafted rookie has been a standout all summer and has a strong case to make the final roster, especially following Corey Davis' retirement announcement earlier this week. Brownlee will have his work cut out for him to make a significant impact in 2023, but he's worth a look in dynasty formats.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
