Tanner Bibee Expected To Start On Sunday
4 months agoCleveland Guardians right-hander Tanner Bibee (shoulder) is expected to make his next start on Sunday against the hosting division-rival Minnesota Twins. Bibee has been cleared to return to the starting rotation after throwing a successful bullpen session on Thursday. While the 25-year-old has been a solid fantasy asset in most leagues this year, he could be on a bit of a pitch count after having his last start skipped due to tightness in his right shoulder. The former fifth-round pick in 2021 out of Cal State Fullerton has been lights-out in his two starts against the Twins this year, though, and will return to a 9-4 record with a 3.48 ERA, a 1.09 WHIP and a 132:31 K:BB in 22 starts (121 2/3 innings) in his second year in the big leagues.
