Brooks Lee Out For Game 1, Could Be Heading To Injured List
4 months agoMinnesota Twins infield prospect Brooks Lee (undisclosed) is not in the starting lineup for Game 1 of a doubleheader on Friday against the visiting division-rival Cleveland Guardians, and he could be heading to the 10-day injured list with an undisclosed injury. With Lee out on Friday, Kyle Farmer will make the start at second base and will hit ninth against Guardians left-hander Joey Cantillo. Lee, 23, is one of the team's top prospects and has hit .253/.309/.333 with a .642 OPS, two home runs, two doubles, 15 RBI, two steals and eight runs scored in his first 26 major-league games in 2024.
