Jackson Chourio Homers Twice In Rout Of Atlanta Thursday
4 months agoMilwaukee Brewers rookie outfielder Jackson Chourio homered twice and knocked in four runs in a 16-7 rout of the Atlanta Braves on Thursday afternoon. Both were two-run shots, one coming in the second inning off veteran Charlie Morton, the second coming in the fifth off rookie Parker Dunshee, who was making his major league debut. Chourio's struggles at the beginning of the season have been well-documented, but he is now hitting .277 with 14 home runs, 50 RBI, 15 stolen bases and 54 runs scored in 347 plate appearances. The rookie phenom is hitting .429 over his last seven games.
