Sebastian Walcott Flying Under The Radar In High-A
4 months agoTexas Rangers infield prospect Sebastian Walcott continued his hot hitting on Wednesday for High-A Hickory. The Rangers No. 1 prospect per MLB Pipeline went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases to add to his already impressive season. The 18-year-old had a cup of coffee for Hickory last year, but has spent all of 2024 season with the club. As one of the younger players in High-A, Walcott has showed he belongs with an all-around game that comes with a .255 batting average with 10 homers, 37 RBI and 18 RBI. The young budding start made the AL Futures roster this season and continues to blossom into one of the better infield prospects in all of baseball. With his strong showing at such a young age and his ability to help across the board, he is worth holding onto in dynasty leagues.
