Adam Svensson Looks For More Wyndham Championship Success
9 months agoAdam Svensson will head to Sedgefield Country Club for the third time in his career, having made the cut all three times, including a T7 finish while gaining 5.4 strokes with his putter in 2023. Strokes gained on the greens would be a nice addition to his game this week, as the 30-year-old has lost strokes with his flat stick in eight of his last 10 events on tour. That being said, Svensson has been fantastic off the tee, has been much improved with his chipping, and has been hit-or-miss with his irons. If the Canadian can find a strong putting performance in Greensboro to go with the rest of his recent play, he could easily pay off his $7,400 price tag on DraftKings this week.

Adam Svensson Looks To Build On Good Form At Shriners Open
6 months agoMany thought last week's tournament in Utah was going to be the Adam Svensson show after the Canadian opened the event with an 11-under 60. Frustratingly, he couldn't maintain that level of form, though, as scores of 69-71-71 over the final three days ultimately pushed him down the leaderboard into a tie for 25th. Other than averaging plus-1.30 strokes gained with his irons, Svensson didn't do anything spectacular on the stat sheet and hasn't all year, other than a few good weeks with his putter. At $9,000 on FanDuel, there's plenty of chalk to eat around this price range. DFS players may as well take one guy with top-25s in three of his last four starts.

Adam Svensson Looks To Rediscover Putter Magic At Black Desert Championship
6 months agoAdam Svensson is coming off a missed cut in Mississippi due to poor putting, as the Canadian lost over four strokes on the greens through his two rounds played. However, before last week, his previous two events saw him averaging plus-1.45 strokes gained on the greens en route to T7 and T13 finishes. The other worry outside of his putter is his lackluster approach statistics that may not bode well on greens averaging 7,000 square feet, as he ranks 93rd on the year in proximity to the hole (37 feet, six inches). He also ranks 76th in the field in three-putt avoidance on bent-grass greens and 128th on the year overall. At $9,800 on FanDuel, there are better options around him.

Adam Svensson Looks To Bounce Back At John Deere Classic
10 months agoAdam Svensson did not make the cut at the Rocket Mortgage Classic last week. Now, he is getting ready for the John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run. Before the Rocket Mortgage Classic, Svensson had made the cut in 11 consecutive appearances. It's interesting to note that in last year's John Deere Classic, over 33% of approach shots were from 100-150 yards, and in the past 12 months, Svensson ranks in the 73rd percentile in greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from 100-150 yards in the fairway. This week could be a great opportunity for Svensson to bounce back, as he has shown excellent form in 2024 and might be a good choice for DFS lineups.

Adam Svensson Looking For Putting Consistency
11 months agoAdam Svensson has been locked in from tee to green of late, as he's gained 4.7 strokes off the tee in his last three events combined while gaining at least 1.8 strokes on approach in all but one of his last seven PGA Tour appearances. However, the question mark for the Canadian comes in the form of his flat stick -- Svensson has lost strokes putting in six of his last eight starts, leading to made cuts but lackluster finishes on the weekend. The 30-year-old lost 5.2 strokes on the greens in a shortened showing the last time the Hamilton Golf & Country Club hosted the RBC Canadian Open, but he gained 1.2 strokes putting at the Charles Schwab last week. Which putter shows up on Thursday in Ontario may very well decide Svensson's fate between a missed cut and a top-20 finish.
