Tyler Stuart Fans Nine On Sunday
4 months agoWashington Nationals starting pitching prospect Tyler Stuart threw six scoreless innings for Double-A Harrisburg on Sunday, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out nine. Stuart was recently traded to the Nationals from the Mets for outfielder Jesse Winker. In two starts with his new organization (11 IP), Stuart's posted a 2.45 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and 14:4 K/BB. Overall, he's got a 3.79 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 104:24 K/BB through 95 innings in 2024. Washington's No. 16 prospect (per MLB.com), he could make his big-league debut by the end of this season.
