1 month agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Spencer Arrighetti had a stellar performance on Sunday, striking out 12 over six one-run innings against the Tampa Bay Rays. He allowed just five hits and two walks. Unfortunately, he took the loss as the Astros were unable to generate any offense. Arrighetti has shown flashes of brilliance in his rookie season, but his lack of control and tendency to get hit hard when things aren't working have his season numbers looking pretty rough. If he can figure it out in the future, his upside is sky-high. For this year though, he should probably only be used as a streamer in favorable matchups or when strikeouts are a big need.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
