Edward Cabrera Stifles Braves Over Five Innings
4 months agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Edward Cabrera tossed a five-inning gem in a victory over the Atlanta Braves on Sunday, giving up no earned runs on three hits and two walks with eight strikeouts. The right-hander brilliantly limited the potent Atlanta offense to earn his second win of the season. He has a 5.96 ERA and 1.49 WHIP, making it difficult to roster him in fantasy leagues. But the strikeout potential is excellent as he has shown with 64 punchouts in 48 1/3 innings. He might be someone to keep an eye on for the rest of the season to see if he can show improved results.
