Jonathan India Snaps Power Drought On Saturday
4 months agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India went 2-for-3 with a home run and a walk on Saturday afternoon. The infielder launched a solo shot in the third inning and a single later in the fifth. Entering this game, the 27-year-old was riding a poor .149/.281/.191 line without a long ball and only two extra-base hits. Hopefully, this multi-hit effort can get the Florida product back on track. Across 102 games this season, India carries a .262/.366/.406 line with a .355 xwOBA and .281 xBA which suggest his numbers could continue to climb in the second half. India remains a solid option at middle infield as he is typically found leading off for the Reds.
