Jacob Wilson Begins Light Baseball Activities
4 months agoOakland Athletics shortstop prospect Jacob Wilson (hamstring) began performing light baseball activities this week. Wilson hit the 10-day IL shortly after making his major league debut on July 21. The top prospect in Oakland tallied a hit in his lone at-bat before leaving the game with a hamstring injury. The former first-round pick in last year's draft split the early part of the summer between Double and Triple-A, boasting a stellar .438/.475/.686 slash line with seven long balls and a 12:13 BB:K ratio. This is a great sign to see the infielder begin hitting off a tee and doing light jogging without any setbacks. Fantasy managers should expect Wilson to return to the big leagues following a potential rehab assignment in August.
