4 months agoHouston Astros outfield prospect Jacob Melton went 2-for-4 with his first Triple-A home run. Melton was prompted to Triple-A Sugar Land on July 25. The top prospect in the Houston system has held his own there with a .233/.361/.400 line. He has posted three multi-hit games. Earlier this season, in his second look at Double-A ball, the outfielder posted a solid .248/.306/.442 line with 10 home runs, 19 stolen bases, and 34 RBI in 58 games.
