The Denver Broncos went through plenty of changes this offseason, which included releasing Russell Wilson and trading away Jerry Jeudy this offseason. Jeudy and Courtland Sutton were Denver's top two wide receiver options last year, but that will change during the 2024 season.
Sutton should operate as the Broncos' WR1 after totaling 59 catches for 772 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2023. So, that leaves Josh Reynolds -- who the team signed in free agency -- and second-year wideout Marvin Mims Jr. for the team's WR2 job.
So, is Reynolds or Mims the fantasy football WR2 for the Broncos? Let's dive in and find out.

Who is the Denver Broncos' WR2?
Reynolds and Mims will likely be battling for that WR2 job in training camp, as that position should be up for grabs. Reynolds is the more experienced wideout, entering his eighth NFL season. Last year, the 29-year-old reeled in 40 passes for 608 yards and five touchdowns with the Detroit Lions.
As for Mims, he didn't see many opportunities on offense in his rookie season. He played less than 50% of the Broncos' offensive snaps in 14 of 16 games in 2023. Still, the 22-year-old showed a ton of promise on the field, totaling 22 catches for 377 yards and one touchdown. He also became a weapon for Denver in the returning game, which earned him his first Pro Bowl selection.

However, Reynolds might have the edge as the team's WR2 to start the year. He has the experience over Mims and was solid in that WR2 role for Detroit last season. But expect the second-year wideout to eventually overtake Reynolds for that job. While the speedy wideout only totaled 377 receiving yards in 2023, the talent is obviously there for him to be much more involved in Year 2.
Who Should I Draft in Fantasy Football?
Both Reynolds and Mims are going outside the top 185 in drafts currently, making them potential dart throws in the final round of drafts. Neither, though, should be in store for solid fantasy seasons with Bo Nix, Zach Wilson, or Jarrett Stidham throwing passes to them. That inconsistent quarterback play should lead to plenty of rough fantasy days for both wideouts. As a result, both Broncos playmakers will have low floors entering the 2024 fantasy campaign and aren't great targets in drafts.
